Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

Never is one’s fear so tested than when a diagnosis of which there is no cure is given. Never is one’s faith so tested than when a diagnosis of which there is no cure given.

Thankfully there is that gift of grace we can tap into. Once the initial shock is over, our faith and confidence seems to kick in. While we know we may not get better, we do know that faith, mercy, prayer and grace will power us on.

So many of our family, friends and neighbors have debilitating ills. But, those that I know, never seem to loose sight of the bright spot that comes along. These are the ones who know they have an army of friends, known or unknown to them praying and doing whatever they can for them when asked. They provide us with so much strength to face the future.

The leader of this Army is our Lord. He has assembled a massive force that can go out in faith and love to share the good news, even when there is doubt.

The battle will end for all of us one day, but count on your faith and the Army of God’s Believers to share his grace with us in our time of need. Our hearts will be warmed with confidence and love to move on with hope.

Prayer

Lord, when we are tested to ”keep the faith”, it
is not easy. Please help us to reflect on the goodness
and kindness of loved ones and strangers so that we
cannot but help to keep that faith and your gifts of
grace. Help us to remember that we are blessed and
blessed to be a blessing. Amen.
